Great quality, runs big
I bought this for my nearly 6 month-old who weighs 17 lbs. I love it! The quality is fantastic! If you've never had a Halo brand sleepsack, they are the best. My son wears this sleepsack to bed instead of blankets, so there is no chance of suffocation. It's super soft and cozy warm. The zipper starts at the top and zips down toward the feet, so the zipper doesn't bother the child's chin/neck. Just note that it runs a little big: Most of the pajamas my son wears are 6-9 months, and fit well. I ordered 6-9 mo in this sleeper/sleepsack, and it is pretty big. I'm keeping it though, because better too big than too small for this kid's rate of growth!

Practical Sleep Safety
While we have received a HALO SleepSack for review we've also bought several of our own in cotton and fleece. They are hands down the safest way to ensure baby is warm enough at bed without putting them at risk with blankets. Great Sleepsacks
We love the Halo Sleepsacks. We own 4 of them from Halo and they all look very cute and are a great safe way of keeping your baby warm at night. As far as the sizing information, I find the length to be more appropriate than the weight on this item. Our baby is long and lean, and she does not fit in the small size anymore (up to 18 lbs - she only weighs 15 Lbs). I would say the small size fits up to 26 inches long (regardless of weight), then it's time to move to the medium size (which would seem to fit a baby up to 30 inches long).

The best fabric for these sacks, could be better.
My friend had several of the fleece sacks for her son (3 months older than my son) and I always felt they were VERY scratchy both inside and out and did not seem to wear very well through multiple washings. We borrowed one for a nap at her house and my son woke up sweaty wet because the fleece was just not breathable enough. Since he was just transitioning from being swaddled to needing a sack, I bought the velboa one instead and I feel it has been much better, but it still has some flaws.

Pros:
-Seems to be more breathable than fleece
-outside is still super soft after many months of washing/wearing
-doesn't seem as cheap

Cons:
-inside is pilled up just like the fleece one (reason for 3 stars out of 5)

I wish that Halo Innovations would come out with some other fabric options (cotton sweater knit, quilted flannel, nicer fleece) and better color choices because they have a good product, it's just not GREAT!

Best product for a baby's good night sleep
Wife and I bought this product after using it in the NICU with our son. This is a high quality product and does the job!!! It swaddles our boy so his arms and legs do not flail while he sleeps which is normal for newborns. We wrap him up in the Halo, put him on his back and he sleeps very soundly. He has been sleeping through the night since he was 2 1/2 months. While I don't totally attribute this to the HALO I think it has a lot to do with it.
