Very soft and breathable, but could be a bit more durable.
This is a great summer-weight blanket with multiple uses: From a swaddling blanket for newborns to a stroller blanket for older infants and toddlers. The muslin fabric gets softer with every wash, and my little-one seems to love the feel of it on her skin. The material of this blanket is also very breathable, which aids with temperature control and prevents my baby from getting too hot. Plus, the organic cotton is free of pesticides and other chemical residues. The only downside of this blanket is that its durability could be improved. The first time I washed it (according to the instructions), the stitching around the edge of the blanket unraveled. This left the jagged, threadbare edge of the loose-woven muslin exposed, which itself began to unravel. Fortunately, I was able to mend the area where the stitching had come loose, and so far, it has held up through a few more rounds of laundry.
