somehow, I do not like this material compare with other Swaddeles
I bought the other design of same Swaddeles receiving blanket as the same time. Somehow, this design's fabric is harder than another one (Fuchsia Little Hearts). I recommend Fuchsia Little Hearts more than this.

Love it! Soft & Pretty :)
After debating whether or not to spend the lil extra for a receiving blanket, I decided to purchase the Swaddledesigns in this oh, so cute print. Most of Swaddledesigns receiving blankets are either very mod, very loud or too plain. This print is light and perfectly matches with our ivory/brown/green/splash of pink bedding set. The blanket is very soft as well. I plan to use the blanket to swaddle and in the stroller....this might become her security blanket!

It's ok! Zipper is not easy.
I bought this sleepsack b/c I like the basic concept but the zipper is awful to try to maneuver in the dark. A lot of times my daughter is hot at bedtime so I just place her on the sleepsack til later when she's cold and then I have to try to do the zipper up when she's sleeping with the zipper right under her chin. I have tried and prefer the PleaseMum brand from Vancouver, Canada. Super soft material and a two-way zipper that starts at the bottom, much easier for night time use. The halo sleepsack is great if you're just going to put it on before the baby is asleep. But as another mom mentioned, it's not near as soft as I expected the organic cotton to be.

Nice Quality!
I have to say the price of this swaddle blanket is expensive compared to Carters Brands or other brands usually purchased at Babies R Us. However, after receiving it in the mail, I washed it to prepare it for use prior to my babies arrival. I noticed that the carter's brand immediately faded and the fabric felt rough. I had washed this Swaddle Designs blanket in the same load as the Carter's brand and noticed that it stayed soft and the color did not fade. So I'm guessing those cheaper ones won't last too long. I used the Dreft detergent for all my baby stuff and I can definitely say, this product is just higher quality and worth it for long term use.

I do highly recommend it if you have extra money to spend I would buy at least one. Seeing as to how it seemed to withstand washes versus the Carter's brand which immediately faded and became rough after 1 wash!

I purchased two of these blankets on-line from the company when my twins girls grew out of the regular sized swaddlin blankets. My girls wouldn't sleep without being swaddled up until they were 7 months old. So you can imagine that they needed large blankets to be swaddled in. They are wonderful and now I plan on buying them for friends that are having babies. They are also great for nursing in public. The blankets are so large that you can cover yourself, your baby and anyone sitting close to you. I wish I had bought two for each baby. It was hard to make sure I washed them quickly before the next nap.
