I bought this as part of the diaper cake topper for my sister before she had my niece. It has become indispensable as a security blanket for her. She won't go to sleep without it. In fact sometimes she will do the head nodding thing, the second you hand her the monkey she is lights out. The only problem is that it is always with her being chewed and dropped and dragged and it is not machine washable. She has had it for 14 months and its holding together just fine but definitely showing signs of being loved by a toddler.
I bought her a second one recently because my sister was worried about what would happen if the original ever got lost. Now she can try cleaning up the first a bit with slightly less fear that she will destroy her child's beloved monkey blanket.
